American man Taylor Barris admitted Tuesday that he had made a false alarm call that resulted in the innocent death of a 28-year-old man, the Guardian reported.

The case occurred in Wichita, Kansas, at the end of December 2017. At that time, Barris had a quarrel with two other young people while playing computer games. He called the police and said that he shot his father and took his mother hostage. He said he had filled the houses with petrol and was ready to die with them. Thereafter, a false address was given to one of the game players. Police arrived at the scene of the incident on the basis of alarm information, and Andrew Finch, 28, opened the door without warning. The policeman ordered him to raise his hands and stand still. But Finch suddenly put his hand down, and the police fired. Finch died accordingly. According to Finchs mother, after the shooting of the police, Finch and their family were handcuffed. The police also did not find guns at home.
