Syria calls for investigation of League of nations crime: collective grave found in China

Syrias Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that more than 4,000 bodies, mostly women, children and the elderly, had recently been found in the northern city of Raka. It said the mass graves were found under the ruins of the U.S. -led League of Nations air raid on Raka. On 31 October, another large grave was found, including the bodies of more than 1,500 civilians who had been killed by last years League of Nations air strikes on the city of Laka.

The Syrian Foreign Ministry strongly condemns the attacks on Syrian civilians by the League of Nations led by the United States, and calls on the United Nations Security Council to shoulder its responsibility for maintaining international peace and security and take prompt action to put an end to the crimes committed by the League of Nations against the Syrian people. The Syrian Foreign Ministry also called for an international investigation into these crimes and reiterated its call for an end to the illegal presence of the United States and other foreign forces on Syrian territory. The Syrian government considers that the so-called anti-terrorism actions of the United States and its international coalition are violations of Syrian sovereignty because they have not been authorized by the Syrian government. Earlier, the Syrian government had written to the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the Security Council many times to condemn and investigate the use of white phosphorus bombs by the League of Nations in Syria and the civilian deaths caused by its air strikes. At present, the League of Nations has not commented on this. Source: CCTV News Mobile editor: Li Cong _B11284
