Oct. 30, the Indonesian authorities said, rescue workers in the crash site of Lion Airlines JT610 flights found and carried 24 bags of remains, 151 families of victims have come to provide DNA samples and medical and dental records.

At a news conference Monday evening (29) local time, a police officer said more than one persons body might be in each bag, CNN reported. Therefore, the relevant departments are still unable to confirm the number of bodies found. Authorities say it is unlikely to find the remains of all the victims.

Ari Dono Sukmanto, deputy chief of the Indonesian National Police, told reporters at a news conference that 651 police officers were involved in the search, 15 forensic doctors were conducting body identification, and 151 families of the victims had come to provide DNA samples and medical and dental records.
