Oct. 29, according to the Associated Press news, Indonesian officials said the plane crashed in two to three minutes after takeoff had made a request to return to the airport, and was granted.

A Boeing airliner belonging to Lion Air Group of Indonesia (LIONAIR) crashed after takeoff, an Indonesian search and rescue official said on the morning of 29. According to Bloombergs briefing by the Indonesian national transportation safety board, there were 189 people on board.
