Matthew Zielinski, Lenovos North American president, said Tuesday that the companys recent market share growth showed Lenovo knew better than ever how to market its products. Lenovos business in North America grew significantly in the second quarter, as it added Fujitsus numbers, changed its North American channel strategy and stabilized its management.

According to IDC, global PC shipments, including desktops, laptops and workstations, were about 67.4 million in the third quarter, down 0.9% from a year earlier.
