American Airlines will be the first commercial airline to resume 737max paid flights, with its initial route scheduled to start between Miami and LaGuardia Airport in New York on December 29.

Pilot training will begin this week, including computer-based training and training in flight simulators. During the grounded period, American Airlines had 24 aircraft in its fleet.
