Britain and Australia will cooperate to build 9 frigates based on the British Navy type 26 frigate

The first of these frigates is planned for service in the late 1920s, and their design is based on the British Navys type 26 frigate.

The new frigates will enhance the operational capabilities of the Australian Navy and create jobs, contributing to the economic growth of the UK and Australia.
