At present, Sino US relations are at a low point for decades, and Washington has issued a series of technical sanctions against Huawei in the past two years.

Huawei is one of the largest customers of Sonys smart phone image sensor, while Kingman is the worlds second largest flash memory chip manufacturer and an important supplier of Huawei.

As previously reported by jimicronet, Jiaxia pointed out in its latest IPO documents that the US ban on Huawei may cause oversupply in the overall nandflash market and the price will fall.

Armored previously warned that US restrictions on Huawei could lead to oversupply of memory chips and lower prices. On September 28, in a statement on its official website, Jiaxia said that neither Jiaxia nor the lead underwriter believed that this was the best time to promote the IPO, and said that they would consider another appropriate time to promote the IPO.

In response to an application to the US Department of Commerce for supplies to China, a Sony spokesman said the company complied with all regulations but could not comment on specific customers. A spokesman for the knight also declined to comment.
