Us study reports the first case of secondary infection of a new crown in the United States

The patient is a 25-year-old man living in Reno, Nevada, according to the report. On March 25, the patient began to have sore throat, cough, nausea and diarrhea. On April 18, he tested positive for his new coronavirus. On April 27, the patient recovered, and the results of two new coronavirus tests were negative. On May 28, the man felt ill again. On June 5, he was hospitalized for shortness of breath and tested positive for new coronavirus again. The report showed that the patients secondary infection was more serious.

The gene sequencing of the virus showed that the patient was infected with a slightly different strain, indicating that it was indeed a secondary infection, the researchers said. The cause of the patients reinfection is not known.
