According to reports, Xiaomis third-generation off screen camera technology adopts a new self-developed pixel layout, allowing the screen to pass through light through the gap area of sub-pixel, so that each unit pixel still retains the complete RGB sub-pixel display without sacrificing pixel density. Therefore, compared with the ordinary scheme on the market, the number of pixels in the display area of Xiaomis third generation under screen camera is doubled regardless of the horizontal and vertical pixels. The pixel density is completely consistent with the normal display area, and the point-to-point physical pixels are fully displayed, and the same brightness, color gamut and color accuracy are achieved, making the whole screen integrated. On the basis of the new pixel layout scheme, Xiaomis third-generation off screen camera also adopts a special circuit design to hide more components under the RGB sub-pixel, which further improves the light transmittance of the camera area under the screen. Combined with the optimization algorithm of Xiaomis self-developed camera, the off screen camera achieves almost the same imaging performance as the conventional front-end camera by changing the cameras impervious and self-contained filter.
