1u3001 Year on year changes in industrial producer prices

Among the ex factory prices of industrial producers, the price of means of production decreased by 3.5% year-on-year, 0.7% lower than that of the previous month, which affected the overall level of ex factory prices of industrial producers by about 2.56%. Among them, the prices of mining industry, raw material industry and processing industry decreased by 7.1%, 6.9% and 1.8%, respectively. The price of means of living rose by 0.7% year-on-year, 0.1 percentage point higher than that of the previous month, which affected the overall level of factory prices of industrial producers to rise by about 0.19%. Among them, the price of food increased by 3.7%, the price of clothing decreased by 1.1%, the price of general daily necessities decreased by 0.8%, and the price of durable consumer goods decreased by 1.6%.

Among the purchase prices of industrial producers, the prices of fuel and power decreased by 10.8%, the prices of chemical raw materials decreased by 8.9%, the prices of ferrous materials decreased by 2.8%, the prices of non-ferrous materials and wires decreased by 0.3%, and the prices of agricultural and sideline products increased by 6.8%.

Among the ex factory prices of industrial producers, the price of means of production rose by 0.5%, the same as that of the previous month, which affected the overall level of ex factory prices of industrial producers by about 0.34%. Among them, the prices of mining industry, raw material industry and processing industry increased by 3.1%, 0.9% and 0.1%, respectively. The price of means of living rose by 0.1%, the same as that of the previous month, which affected the overall level of the ex factory prices of industrial producers to rise by about 0.04%. Among them, the price of food increased by 0.6%, the price of clothing decreased by 0.3%, the price of general daily necessities decreased by 0.2%, and the price of durable consumer goods remained unchanged.

Among the purchase prices of industrial producers, the prices of nonferrous metal materials and wires increased by 3.0%, the prices of fuel and power increased by 2.5%, the prices of agricultural and sideline products increased by 1.4%, the prices of ferrous materials increased by 0.9%, and the prices of building materials and non-metallic materials decreased by 0.6%.

The ex factory price index of industrial producers reflects the change trend and range of the ex factory price of the products of industrial enterprises when they are sold for the first time.

The industrial producer purchase price index reflects the change trend and range of the purchase price of industrial enterprises as intermediate input products.

2. Statistical scope

The ex factory price survey of industrial producers covers the prices of more than 20000 industrial products with 1638 basic classifications; the survey of industrial producers purchase prices covers the prices of more than 10000 industrial products with more than 900 basic classifications.

Industrial producer price survey adopts the combination of key survey and typical survey. Enterprises with annual main business income of more than 20 million yuan adopt key survey method, while enterprises with annual main business income less than 20 million yuan adopt typical survey method. Industrial producer price survey involves more than 50000 industrial enterprises in China.

4. Statistical standards

The standard of industrial division is based on the classification of national economic sectors (GB / t4754-2017).
