Former South Korean President Lee Myung-bak, 77, was escorted to Seouls Central District Court for trial again this morning, Yonhap news agency reported. It was only 3 days after he was discharged from the hospital.
Lee Myung-bak, who is old and ill health, is obviously weak. He was photographed under the help of a prison guard, with his head hanging down and his arms slowly moving towards the court. His face was more gaunt than before.
According to reports, Lee Myung-bak, since his first trial on May 23, has repeatedly applied to the court for adjournment on the grounds of deteriorating health. However, the court did not buy it, asking Lee Myung-bak to attend all the trials.
