Hello, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to Huawei BWS summit.

Today, with the BWS conference, I would like to share Huaweis thinking under the current situation, especially how to use 5g to accelerate the digital transformation of the whole society.

Facing the future, we will still firmly invest in R & D, absorb more high-level scientific research personnel, and maintain the vitality of innovation.

The outbreak of Xinguan epidemic has brought a great impact on peoples life and work all over the world, and has a great impact on the global economy. The emerging ICT technology can and should play an important role in all aspects of anti epidemic.

Based on the experience of China and Italy, we summed up nine scenarios of ICT technology support in the different stages of the epidemic, including hospital network construction, remote consultation, online education, government and enterprise resumption of work and production, etc., in the different stages of the epidemic situation in the climbing period, outbreak period, adhesive period and fall back period. We have contributed our experience and strength to the epidemic prevention and control and the resumption of work and childbirth u3002

Ill give you some practical examples,

During the outbreak, a large number of shelter hospitals were set up all over the world, but there was always a shortage of high-quality doctors. In February this year, Wuhan built an emergency shelter hospital with about 300 beds. China Telecom delivered 5g network within 24 hours. A medical expert in Zhejiang Province performed ultrasound examination for patients in shelter hospital more than 700 kilometers away. In only 15 minutes, the patients lung lesions were clear at a glance.

Technology allows doctors and patients to be thousands of miles away, but as close as possible. As early as 2018, Chinas national telemedicine center was established in Zhengzhou Dayi affiliated hospital to provide normalized telemedicine. At present, it has covered more than 1400 Chinese medical institutions and African countries such as Zambia and Morocco. There are more than 40000 cases of online consultation every year, and more than 500000 cases of specialist diagnosis such as ECG, pathology and imaging. We believe that the combination of 5g technology and medical aspects will effectively drive the maximum value of medical resources.

As of June, 81 operators around the world have deployed 5g commercial networks, covering about 72% of the global GDP, including some major economies in Europe and Asia Pacific.

5gs commercial success is more than just connectivity. 5g, computing, cloud, artificial intelligence and other strategic technologies have historically gathered together to promote each other. Huawei will provide scenario based solutions according to different needs to help customers achieve business success.

Next, I will take three cases from the perspective of enterprises, parks and cities to talk about how five machines can support the digitalization of the whole scene.

First of all, take a look at the situation of enterprises.

An aviation technical service company in Europe has realized the application of digitization with 5g technology, which has improved the efficiency of aviation maintenance.

One of the applications is 5g + remote inspection. In the absence of 5g, aircraft maintenance requires the engineers of airlines to travel to the aircraft site for 2 months. With 5g remote inspection, engineers can conduct real-time remote inspection through four 4K videos, which can save 78% of the cost through 5g scheme.

The second application is 5g virtual cockpit design. In the past, engineers spent at least one hour a day downloading 3D model data. With 5g, the download rate can reach 1.5gbps. Multiple engineers can download 3D models at any time and conduct collaborative design based on digitaltwin to find the conflict points in time. The overall tooling efficiency can be increased by nearly 20%. Compared with the traditional scheme, the total cost can be saved by 66% per year.

Hong Kong Airport adopts the way of CO building 5g network with operators to create a new ecology with industry partners. The Hong Kong airport goes deep into the business scenarios and sorts out the passenger flow, luggage flow and information flow in detail. It is found that there are very rich 5g application scenarios, such as one face passing through the airport, luggage tracking, automatic driving of luggage cars on the apron, etc. these applications make 5g network more useful.

Also at Shenzhen airport, we can see that the application of ICT has optimized the passenger flow, reducing the peak boarding time from 40 minutes to 25 minutes. In the future, we will see more and more airports build smart airports with the help of 5g, computing, cloud, artificial intelligence and other technologies, so as to realize the comprehensive improvement of experience, safety and efficiency.

5g is the cornerstone of urban digitization. In xiongan, China, the three major operators have built more than 7400 5g base stations, and closely combined with urban planning, they have launched applications such as 5g based integrated earth earth ecological monitoring system, 5g slice banking business, and even driverless express cars, buses and taxis. In the future, the inner two lanes of Beijing xiongan expressway, which is nearly 100 kilometers long, is expected to realize automatic driving and vehicle road coordination.

We can see that operators will not only focus on network construction, but also participate in urban services through 5g + edge computing + cloud + front-end devices. Operators can continuously obtain digital dividends of various industries without significantly increasing costs. 5g has a high adaptability of front-end facilities. It can not only adapt to the large bandwidth of camera applications, but also adapt to the low delay requirements of radar speed measurement. This will enable operators to provide low-cost access for 2B, 2G and other fields.

We believe that there will be broad space for telecom operators to transform in the future.

To truly achieve 5g business success, we need the joint efforts of the industry.

The application also needs standards. For example, in the high-definition video return scene in the port, the reliability requirement standard is 99.9%, while the control signal flow requirement of the hanging platform is 99.999%. The standard is unified, which means 5g can be injected into the digital platform as a kind of capability.

Of course, based on the current background of the global economy, for operators, they should also be based on the present, face the future, accurately build networks, and maximize network value. We have three suggestions:

Operators also need to think about the network evolution mode facing the future scenario demand.
