Zhong Shan said that APEC economies should comprehensively strengthen cooperation, help each other in the same boat, reduce the impact of the epidemic, stabilize trade and investment in the Asia Pacific region, and build a human health community. China has taken positive measures to facilitate the procurement of epidemic prevention materials to support APEC economies in fighting the epidemic, and will continue to make efforts to fight the epidemic in the Asia Pacific region. To this end, China puts forward three suggestions: first, further strengthen Asia Pacific Cooperation in combating epidemic diseases. All economies should continue to take effective measures to stabilize their economies and, in particular, help developing economies improve their ability to fight the epidemic. Second, to ensure the smooth flow of trade and investment in the Asia Pacific region. We will firmly safeguard the multilateral trade system, oppose unilateralism and protectionism, facilitate the circulation of key anti epidemic products, and stabilize the industrial chain of regional supply chain. The third is to plan for the development of economic integration in the Asia Pacific region after the epidemic. We will promote the APEC Economic and trade agenda, formulate a vision of high-level cooperation after 2020, and jointly build an Asia Pacific Community of common destiny.
