It is reported that in this years shortlist, only 31 businesses have been shortlisted in the must eat list for four consecutive years, accounting for 2.1% of this years total, and 55% of the shortlisted restaurants have local specialties.
In the must eat list shortlisted restaurants, hot pot accounted for the largest proportion of categories, reaching 15%. Secondly, Japanese cuisine, Cantonese cuisine and Jiangsu and Zhejiang cuisine are still the most popular cuisines in 2020 must eat list. Snacks, Sichuan cuisine, barbecue, these three categories of restaurants, the number of shortlisted surge into a new hot category.
Compared with 2019, there are 136 must eat restaurants in Shanghai in 2020, and Beijing, which has 104 restaurants, has become the most popular food city.
