South Korean officials say North Korea is preparing to restart broadcasting to South Korea, which has been set up in multiple locations

South Korean officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that South Korea found that the DPRK had reset its loudspeakers in multiple locations in the demilitarized zone of South Korea and North Korea since the 21st.

We have found similar moves in more than 10 areas and are doing them at the same time, said an official at the South Korean joint staff headquarters

South Korean President Wen Yin and North Koreas supreme leader Kim Jeong-eun met in Panmunjom in April 27, 2018, and published the declaration of moon Jae in order to realize peace, prosperity and unity on the peninsula. The declaration includes all hostilities that the two sides cease to cause military tension and conflict. South Korea and North Korea subsequently dismantled about 40 loudspeakers each, and stopped distributing hostile leaflets.

Tensions on the peninsula have flared up in recent days. Dissatisfied with South Koreas connivance in distributing anti North Korean leaflets to North Korea, North Korea blew up the North Korean liaison office building in the Kaesong industrial park on the 16th, and is preparing to distribute leaflets to South Korea.

South Koreas defense ministry said it is paying close attention to the DPRKs military activities and is fully prepared to respond to all possible situations immediately..

The Yonhap news agency reported that South Korea is also considering resetting its broadcasting amplifier to the DPRK.
