In terms of logistics and transportation, the data of the Internet of things freight service platform G7 shows that during the 618 period of this year (June 1-18), the total truck mileage of the platform increased by 8.63% compared with the same period of 2019, with a year-on-year growth rate reduced and the total traffic increased by 7.61%. Since the resumption of work and production, at present, the national highway logistics has recovered and achieved a certain growth. The total flow and total mileage during the 618 period rose by 4% month on month, the highest in three years.
Changes of highway logistics during 2018-2020
During this years 618 period, the top 10 logistics hot provinces are Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shandong, Zhejiang, Hebei, Henan, Sichuan, Anhui, Hubei and Shanxi. Looking back at the ranking from 2018 to 2020, Guangdong, Jiangsu and Shandong are often in the top three, Anhui and Hubei are climbing year by year, Shanxi is in the top ten this year, and Jiangxi is not.
The cities where logistics flows into top 10 are Foshan, Zhengzhou, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Shijiazhuang, Nanjing, Suzhou, Baoding and Jinan; the cities where logistics flows out of top 10 are Guangzhou, Suzhou, Shanghai, Dongguan, Chengdu, Foshan, Hangzhou, Zhengzhou, Shenzhen and Beijing.
During the 618 period, the most busy logistics transportation lines are within 300 kilometers and take about 3 hours on average. Most of these lines are distributed in the beishangguang economic circle, of which nearly 80000 (79637) trips are from Suzhou and Shanghai.
In Hubei, after more than one months recovery, the overall logistics flow of Hubei during the 618 period increased by 18.67% compared with 2019. Among them, Wuhans logistics heat is still slightly lower than the same period last year, and is still recovering.
In general, the most active cities in logistics are not only the first tier cities such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, but also the major provinces of daily consumption, cosmetics and clothing production such as Foshan and Suzhou, as well as the large-scale logistics transit hubs such as Zhengzhou and Baoding. During this years 618 period, the top three categories of logistics occupancy are general merchandise (37%), household furniture (31%) and food and beverage (14%).
In addition, with the gradual implementation of e-commerces sinking market strategy, the logistics situation directly reflects the rapid growth of urban traffic below the third line, especially in 2019, with a growth rate of 55%, far higher than the overall traffic growth. In 2020, the growth rate of sinking market is 8%, basically equal to the overall growth rate.
