Singapore world science and technology publishing company will donate 4000 copies of the above two manuals to infectious disease hospitals, health departments, medical research institutions and libraries in more than 50 countries and regions, share Chinas important experience in fighting the epidemic with the world, transfer the experience and practice of building emergency medical institutions and expanding medical resources in an emergency, and support the prevention and control of the epidemic around the world. Two books are now on sale on Amazon.

Max Phua, general manager of Singapore world science and technology publishing company, said that the company was honored to be authorized to publish two important books, and hoped that the global donation and distribution in special period could help communities around the world to resist the covid-19 epidemic.

Under the guidance of Wang Chen, academician of Chinese Academy of engineering and President of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Zhuoer Public Welfare Foundation organized relevant personnel to participate in the construction, transformation and support services of shelter hospital and emergency hospital, summarized and sorted out the actual construction, operation and support experience of the hospital, and compiled the construction and operation manual of shelter and emergency hospital. During the outbreak, the Zhuoer public welfare foundation participated in the construction of 7 emergency hospitals and 3 shelter hospitals, and received 7589 patients.

The two manuals cover the functions and characteristics, design concept, engineering transformation plan, hospital operation plan, hospital logistics support of shelter hospital and emergency hospital, which provide important reference for the construction of emergency medical institutions, expansion of medical and public health resources to effectively promote the prevention and control of epidemic diseases.

The electronic versions of the two handbooks were first published in April, translated into more than 20 languages by volunteers from various countries, and officially published in China by China Union Medical University Press. This is the first time the manual has been published overseas.
