Today, the official release of the white paper of Chaoji charging technology and chademo3.0, the official launch of Chinas national standard formulation and revision, and the research on the development route of Chaoji industrialization, mark the basic maturity of Chaoji charging technology, enter a new stage of standard formulation and industrial application, which is a milestone for the development of electric vehicles.

The current real vehicle test results show that the maximum charging current of the Chaoji charging technology can reach 360a; in the future, the charging power can be as high as 900kw, and 400km can be driven in only 5 minutes of charging, so the charging of electric vehicles will become more convenient and fast. At the same time, because of its compact design and scalability, it can be used in small and medium-sized power application scenarios, covering the mainstream passenger vehicle field, but also taking into account the special requirements of heavy-duty vehicles and light vehicles, greatly expanding its application range. Experts from China, Japan, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Australia and other countries set up a joint working group to jointly promote the technical research, verification and internationalization of the Chaoji project; in October 2019, a summary meeting of the pre research work on high-power charging technology and standards for electric vehicles was held in Shanghai, China, to comprehensively display the research results and obtain wide recognition from experts from Japan, the United States, Europe and other countries; in March 2020, State Grid Corporation of China organized the preparation of a white paper on the technology of Chaoji charging, which comprehensively described the technical solutions, future standards and industrial planning of Chaoji charging system, communication protocol, connectors, etc. Based on the same solution, a new generation charging standard, chademo3.0, has been developed in Japan.
