 No new novel coronavirus pneumonia confirmed in Shanghai, 17 suspected cases are being investigated


As of 24:00 on March 1, 2427 suspected cases have been excluded and 337 confirmed cases have been found in Shanghai. Among the confirmed cases, 175 were male and 162 were female; the oldest was 88 years old and the youngest was 7 months old; 145 had a history of living or traveling in Hubei, 34 had a history of living or traveling outside Hubei, 158 had a history of contact with related cases; 111 had come to Shanghai from other places, and 226 had a permanent resident population. Among the confirmed cases, 44 cases were in hospital, 35 cases were stable, 9 cases were critical, 290 cases were cured and 3 cases died. 17 suspected cases are still under investigation.

2410 suspected cases have been excluded in Shanghai

Novel coronavirus pneumonia was excluded in 9 cases in Shanghai from 0 to 12 March 1, 2020. 3 cases were newly cured and discharged, and no new confirmed cases were found.
