In the early morning of February 29, 2020, Chen (with a Chinese passport, male, 51 years old) arrived at Shuangliu Airport on a Seoul Chengdu flight from South Korea. When the staff of Chengdu Customs went on the plane to check the temperature of passengers and screen their health according to the regulations, they found that Chen had fever, cough and other symptoms, and the passenger was immediately sent from 120 to the designated hospital of Chengdu for isolation, further examination and treatment.
After admission, the hospital improved the chest CT, blood routine, tuberculosis IgG antibody test (positive), new coronavirus nucleic acid test (negative for three times) and other tests for Chen. Novel coronavirus pneumonia was excluded from the novel coronavirus infection in March 1st, after consultation with multidisciplinary experts, combining with Chens long course of February, progressive wasting, chest CT, multiple pneumonitis and multiple cavity formation. The imaging features of the lungs were inconsistent with the imaging features of the new crown pneumonia. Chen has transferred to the tuberculosis area of Chengdu Public Health Clinical Medical Center for further treatment.
At present, novel coronavirus pneumonia is imported from abroad, and all flights to Chengdu are strictly controlled according to the epidemic prevention requirements.
