On March 1, South Korean President Wen zaiyin delivered a speech at the 101st anniversary of the Trinity independence movement, calling on the Korean people to rally their strength, inherit the spirit of unity and struggle of the Trinity movement and overcome the current new crown epidemic. Wen zaiyin said that Daegu gyeongbei, the severely affected area, is not alone. The support from all walks of life in South Korea to the severely affected area shows the strength of South Korean society and believes that through unity and efforts, the epidemic will be overcome.
Wen said in his speech that South Korea should strengthen cooperation with North Korea, China, Japan, Southeast Asian countries and other countries to deal with the crisis, and called on North Korea and South Korea to carry out health cooperation.
On March 1, 1919, the Trinity movement against Japanese colonial rule and seeking national independence and liberation was held in many places on the Korean Peninsula, which was the largest national anti Japanese independence movement in the modern history of the Korean Peninsula.
