Washington governor Jay inslee has declared a state of emergency in Washington state after the countrys first new coronavirus death, the Capitol Hill reported on February 29.

Insley said in a formal statement that state agencies would use all necessary resources to prepare for the outbreak of the new crown. In addition, Insley authorized the use of the Washington State National Guard when necessary.
