On February 27 local time, the UAE identity and civil rights Authority announced that it would disable the smartgate system of UAE airports from midnight on February 28. Novel coronavirus is being used by all UAE citizens to use the passports instead of the national ID cards to strengthen the entry points recent destination visits.
