Com, Feb. 28 (Xinhua) - three Hong Kong rioters, Li Zhiying, the founder of one media, Yang Sen, the former chairman of the Hong Kong Democratic Party and Li Zhuo, the labor party, were arrested in the early morning of Feb. 28, according to Hong Kongs east net. Three people have been charged and the case will be brought to court in the Eastern District Court on May 5, police said.
According to the Ming Pao and other Hong Kong media reports, Huang Dongguang, acting senior police chief at the criminal headquarters of the Hong Kong Island Head Office of the SAR government, said that three local men aged between 63 and 72 had been arrested and prosecuted, involving an illegal assembly case on August 31 last year, in violation of article 17a of chapter 245 public security regulations, and the case was handed over to the third team of the serious cases group of the Hong Kong Island head office for follow-up. Among them, the 72 year old arrested man (i.e. Li Zhiying) is also involved in the criminal intimidation case in the Eastern District in June 2017, and the three involved cases will be presented in the Eastern District Court on May 5.
