According to the center for health protection, one case was a 63 year old woman living in Shau Kei Wan Road who had been in good health in the past. She had cough and fatigue since January 26. Several family members of the patient did not show symptoms, but will be arranged for quarantine. The other case is a 65 year old woman living alone in Shatin with a long-term illness who has developed symptoms of fever and cough since January 28. The current situation is serious. Both patients had no ambulation record during the incubation period.
The center for health protection is following up the epidemiological investigation of confirmed cases and the follow-up of contacts, and closely monitoring and following up the related confirmed cases of infection in the mainland and overseas. The center will arrange quarantine for close contacts, and other contacts will be subject to medical supervision.
