It is bound with four boosters with a diameter of 3.35 meters. It uses non-toxic and pollution-free liquid oxygen, liquid hydrogen and kerosene as propellants, with a takeoff mass of about 849 tons and a low earth orbit carrying capacity of not less than 22 tons. The core module of the space station is named Tianhe. It is the management and control center of Chinas space station, with a total length of 16.6 meters, a maximum diameter of 4.2 meters, and a launch mass of 22.5 tons. It can support three astronauts to stay in orbit for a long time and carry out space science and technology experiments inside and outside the space station. It is the largest spacecraft currently developed in China.

According to the plan, the Long March 5 b-yao-1 launch vehicle will carry out the first flight mission in mid to late April with a new generation of manned spacecraft test ship after the launch site training.

The new generation manned spacecraft test ship is developed for the operation of Chinas near earth space station and subsequent manned lunar exploration missions. It is 8.8 meters long and has a launch mass of 21.6 tons. It has the characteristics of high safety, high reliability, adaptability to multi mission and modular design. It is mainly used to verify key technologies such as aerodynamic thermal protection, reentry control and parachute group deceleration recovery.
