 Three new confirmed cases of pneumonia in Yunnan


A total of 117 confirmed cases were reported in the whole province. Apart from those who were cured and discharged from the hospital, they are now receiving isolation treatment in designated hospitals. There are 3 critical cases, 7 severe cases, 5 cured and discharged cases, 225 suspected cases, no death cases. 345 close contacts were released from medical observation on the same day, and 3936 were under observation.

Among the confirmed cases, 34 were in Kunming, 13 in Xishuangbanna, 12 in Yuxi, 9 in Zhaotong, 8 in Qujing, 8 in Baoshan, 7 in Dali, 7 in Lijiang, 5 in Honghe, 5 in Dehong, 4 in Puer, 3 in Chuxiong, 1 in Wenshan and 1 in Lincang.

Newly diagnosed patients:

The 115th case: 71 year old female, from Wuhan to Kunming on January 22, Hubei Province, was treated by isolation medicine since January 26, and hospitalized in Kunming Medical Institution on February 2.

The 116th case: a 17-year-old male, born in Huize, Qujing, took a private car from Wuhan to Changsha on January 23, took a high-speed railway from Changsha to Qujing on January 25, took a bus from Qujing to Huize on January 27, started home isolation medical observation on that day, and was admitted to Huize medical institution for isolation treatment on February 2.

The 117th case: a 25-year-old male from Xiantao, Hubei Province, took the high-speed rail from Wuhan to Qujing on January 22, began isolation medical observation on January 30, and was admitted to Qujing medical institution for isolation treatment on February 2.
