Beijing News on November 15, the reporter of Beijing News learned from Beijing Municipal Bureau of culture and tourism that the voluntary application to cancel the national 4A tourist attraction qualification of Yuandu city wall Heritage Park was passed, and the scenic spot is no longer a 4A tourist attraction.

According to the data, Dadu, commonly known as Tucheng, was first built in 1267 and completed in 1284. The Yuandu city wall Heritage Park was officially established in 1988. In 2006, Yuandu city wall site was listed as the Sixth Batch of national key cultural relics protection units.

According to the announcement, the cancellation of 4A level qualification of the scenic spot is voluntary application by the scenic spot of Dadu city wall Heritage Park. It is understood that due to its own reasons, natural and human factors, the park landscape and facilities are damaged to varying degrees, which not only affects the overall effect of the park, but also brings great security risks to tourists. In order to further strengthen the industry management of tourist attractions and optimize the tourism environment, the scenic spots actively apply for the cancellation of relevant qualifications.
