The successful launch of gaofen-7 satellite can shoot high-precision 3D blockbuster in space

The reporter learned from the National Space Administration that at 11:22 on November 3, China successfully launched gaofen-7 satellite, a major special project of high-resolution earth observation system (hereinafter referred to as Gaofen project), with the long march 4B carrier rocket in Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, and carried and launched three satellites, including the exquisite high-resolution test satellite, Sudan science experiment satellite 1 and tianyi-15 satellite. Gaofen-7 satellite, as the first civil sub meter optical transmission stereo surveying and mapping satellite in China, will play an important role in land surveying and mapping, urban and rural construction, statistical investigation and other aspects after operation, providing a strong guarantee for urban agglomeration development planning, agricultural and rural construction, and providing an important support for building a well-off society.

Gaofen-7 satellite is the scientific research satellite with the highest mapping accuracy requirements in the high-resolution series of satellites. It is equipped with two-line array stereo camera, laser altimeter and other payloads, breaking through the sub meter level stereo mapping camera technology, and can obtain high-resolution optical stereo observation data and high-precision laser altimetry data. Gaofen-7 not only has the advantages of the same orbit forward and backward stereoscopic imaging ability and sub meter spatial resolution, but also can use the high-precision elevation information obtained by the laser altimeter to greatly improve the elevation accuracy of the optical stereoscopic image under uncontrolled conditions, so as to realize the civil 1:10000 scale satellite stereoscopic mapping in China, which can meet the needs of basic mapping, global geography and other users in surveying and mapping, residential construction, statistics, etc Information guarantee, urban and rural construction monitoring and evaluation, agricultural survey and statistics and other aspects of the urgent need for high-precision three-dimensional mapping data, improve the level of Chinas mapping satellite engineering, improve the self-sufficiency rate of high-resolution three-dimensional mapping image data.

High score project is one of the 16 major projects defined in the outline of national medium and long term scientific and technological development plan (2006-2020). The goal is to build a high-resolution earth data acquisition system based on satellites, Stratospheric Airships and aircraft, improve the corresponding receiving, processing and application systems, and combine with other observation means to form an all-weather, all-time and global coverage Earth observation capability. Over the past nine years since the launch of the special project, several satellites have been successfully launched, such as gaofen-1, gaofen-2, gaofen-3, 1m radar, gaofen-4 synchronous gaze, gaofen-5 hyperspectral observation, gaofen-6 land emergency monitoring. High score data has been widely used in more than 20 industries and 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government). It has become an indispensable means for the main business of relevant departments and an important support for the governance structure and governance system of governments at all levels. To a large extent, it has realized the replacement of the same type of foreign satellite data. In the future, the focus of the high score special project will be further focused on application. By 2020, an advanced land, atmosphere and ocean earth observation system will be built to provide services for modern agriculture, disaster prevention and mitigation, resources and environment, public security and other important fields, ensure the ownership of information resources, and promote the formation of spatial information industry chain.
