On the left side of the main entrance of China Pavilion, COMACs future electric aircraft virtual integration platform is particularly attractive. On the display board, C919, ARJ21 and other domestic aircrafts jointly perform the course of stride in a new era and share a blue sky dream. A cockpit of the aircraft has also been moved to the exhibition hall. At that time, visitors can test drive on the operation platform.

This is the first demonstration of COMACs simulator, from the seat to the display screen, and even the buttons touched, are the same as the real one. Hui Yannian, an engineer from COMAC technology research center and an on-site staff member, said that the audience could operate and experience the countrys heavy equipment and try to take off and land. From Daxing airport in Beijing to the four leaf clover, the venue of the Expo, it takes almost a moment for the audience to experience the fun of flying and enjoy the great rivers and mountains of the motherland.

In fact, this flight simulator is an important tool used to collect flight data of test aircraft and feed it back to technicians in COMAC. For example, if the pilot encounters some problems during the flight test, the recorder will collect the flight data and transmit it to the simulator. Then the engineer can experience the whole flight process by the description of the pilot and the reproduction of the flight process, and then adjust the development of the aircraft according to the data and experience.

By using the digital model to simulate and verify the flight, all kinds of risks of the simulation can be minimized in the development stage to ensure the safety of the aircraft. Huiyannian said that it is also the hero of the birth of Chinas big aircraft.

Driving simulator is just like playing games. The operator can easily experience the whole process of flying. The reporter also tried a test flight process from Daxing airport, accelerating, pushing and pulling. With the roar of the engine, the plane took off smoothly. When it reached a certain altitude, it started to cruise automatically, and the plane would travel along the route by itself

Experience the sea of stars with VR

Deep sea warrior manned submersible model device, but also in the eyes of reporters, net red.. As Chinas second deep-sea manned submersible, its operating capacity can reach 4530 meters underwater. Visitors can go deep into the deep-sea warrior.

Put on the VR display, control the remote sensing handle with the right hand, and sit on the auto sensing seat. The audience can experience the fun of deep-sea diving into the sea. Submarines are not as easy to operate as expected. Its all technical work to go up, down, forward and backward. If you dont pay attention, you will have close contact with the seabed. The operators task is to find a mysterious aperture at the bottom of the sea. As long as the submersible is opened to the aperture, there will be pictures of collecting rock samples, capturing deep-sea creatures, etc., which are the real scene shots of the real submersible.

Next to the deep sea warrior, the 500 meter spherical radio telescope is equally brilliant. The telescopes display device doesnt look big, but once you put on VR glasses, you may be able to see pulsars light-years away. The 500m spherical radio telescope is known as Chinas eye of the sky. It was proposed by Chinese astronomer Nan Rendong in 1994 and completed in 22 years. It is the largest single aperture and most sensitive radio telescope with independent intellectual property rights in China, and its comprehensive performance is ten times that of the famous radio telescope Arecibo.

In this experience, visitors still have to wear VR display and use the manipulator in their hands to control their actions. The first thing you see is the huge platform of Tianyan. You can watch all kinds of details of this huge device and move freely on the platform. After the official launch, there will be professionals to guide the visitors to break through the boundary of the galaxy and enjoy the sea of stars.

Take a picture of me and new China in the same frame

The 230 inch screen is the largest naked eye 3D screen. According to He Wei, a staff member of the China Pavilion, this is a super large industrial 3D display independently developed and produced by China, with 10K resolution. The big screen is brand-new from optical design to chip design to video algorithm. The biggest highlight is that it is compatible with the current three-dimensional format, and it is expected to enter the consumer electronics market in the future.

I and new China is another bright spot in many interactive experience links of China Pavilion. The audience just need to sit in front of the camera and take a picture of themselves. Through face fusion technology, they can complete a picture with unique commemorative significance and upload it to the giant screen display in the exhibition hall to share their same frame with the motherland.

It is worth mentioning that the clothing and background in the group photo can be selected freely. You can completely change into a set of handsome military uniforms or gorgeous national costumes. You can choose some famous landmarks and important scenes in China, such as the Beijing birds nest, Tiananmen Square, the 70th anniversary of the founding of new China, the vast North China Plain, the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge or the Expo venues.

Wu Zhengping, director of the China Pavilion, said that the integration of self portraits and these exciting images of the motherland is to praise our new China. At the fair, this unusual Chinese Pavilion should strive to become a bright business card of the second national exhibition of the fair, to show the image of Chinas reform and opening up and the happy life of the Chinese people to the world.
