Chinas economy has grown exponentially over the past 20 years, with more than a quarter of the super rich under the age of 50, well above the global average of just 13%. In addition, more than 90% of the super high net worth people are self-made rather than rich by inheritance.
In terms of gender distribution, 86.7% of the super high net worth people in China (mainland) are men, while only 13.3% are women.
