As a kind of artificial assisted reproductive technology, frozen egg technology has entered clinical application. But according to the current regulations of our country, the medical institutions freeze eggs for unmarried women or are suspected of violating the regulations. Background: controversy on frozen egg storage of unmarried women
Whether single women have the right to bear or not? Whether single women can save their fertility by frozen eggs? There has been a long debate about frozen eggs of unmarried women.
According to media reports, many unmarried women choose to freeze their eggs overseas because of the real demand for frozen eggs. As early as 2015, the overseas frozen eggs of female stars have attracted public attention to the frozen eggs of unmarried women. It is believed that the revision of the current human assisted reproductive technology standard in 2003 has obviously lagged behind the needs of the times, and ice breaking is imperative.
According to the reply, the next step of the national health and Family Planning Commission will be to pay close attention to the development of frozen eggs and other technologies, actively carry out feasibility study and prudently promote clinical application.
