At about 6:30 p.m. on October 28, there was a roof fall accident at the entrance of No.2 tunnel of Qingda Xiyuan Mining Investment Co., Ltd. in Nandan county, Guangxi Province. At present, 9 people are still trapped.
The accident rescue headquarters issued the latest notice on the rescue situation at 23:00 last night (30th):
Strengthen technical support. The rescue headquarters invited 15 experts from Guangxi Industrial Design Institute, Guangxi gold company, Guangxi Huaxi Group, Hechi geological exploration and Design Institute and other units to the scene to provide technical support for the rescue.
Strengthen the rescue force. 34 mine professional rescue workers from Baise, Laibin and Nanning were mobilized for reinforcement, and the number of professional rescue teams increased to 80; 30 new miners and 60 miners were added to assist in rescue work.
Strengthen equipment support. Zdy750 full hydraulic tunnel drilling rig and other equipment are added to the rescue site; in order to strengthen the monitoring of underground abnormal vibration, a seismic flow monitoring station has been set up above the wellhead of the incident point to monitor the real-time ground motion of the mining area.
Strengthen the verification of the trapped personnel. Further increase the police force to make a written record of 16 managers of the accident enterprise, and check 240 workers in No. 2 hole one by one. The comparison and verification are being strengthened.
All efforts to carry out rescue. At 3:00 a.m. on October 30, through day and night search and rescue, the broken stone of the roadway has been cleared for about 2 meters. However, due to the complex underground situation, the construction is very difficult and the construction progress is limited. At 6:00 a.m. on the 30th, the temperature of the rescue site rose to 41 u2103, the concentration of sulfur dioxide exceeded the standard, and other problems occurred again, so the site excavation construction was suspended. At 8:00 a.m., the headquarters organized experts and professional rescue forces to conduct on-the-spot investigation in the collapse area again, trying to determine the location of the accident, the location of the trapped personnel, the lithology of the collapsed rock mass and the amount of collapse, etc., and to monitor the concentration and oxygen content of sulfur dioxide in real time. At 10:30 a.m., the tunnel was excavated and cleared for 2.3m, but due to the deterioration of conditions, the underground excavation construction was suspended. At 14:35 p.m., the underground accident site temperature was 40 u2103, oxygen density was 18%, carbon monoxide was 19 ppm and sulfur dioxide was 20 ppm, so the rescue team was temporarily evacuated. Up to now, through real-time monitoring, there is no rescue condition.
