The heads of state of the two countries jointly announced that they will build a generational friendly strategic partnership of cooperation between China and Nepal in the spirit of common efforts and win-win cooperation.
Xi Jinping pointed out that in April this year, in Beijing, you invited me to visit Nepal in a very good year. Im here today as promised. As Ms. President said, there is only friendship and cooperation between China and Nepal. On the faces of the welcoming crowds at the airport and along the way, I saw the sincere smiles of the Nepalese people, felt their sincere friendship with the Chinese people, and let me feel once again that China-Nepal friendship has broad consensus and solid foundation in Nepal. The people of China and Nepal share common feelings and solidarity, which is a model of friendly exchanges between neighbouring countries. Through this visit, I hope to inherit the traditional friendship between China and Nepal, comply with the expectations of the two peoples and promote bilateral relations to a higher level.
Xi Jinping stressed that the two sides should consolidate the political foundation of Sino Nepal relations and build the community of destiny as the long-term goal of Sino Nigerian relations. We thank Nepal for its firm adherence to the one-China policy and its long-standing firm support to China. China will, as always, support Nepal in safeguarding its national independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity, and provide support and assistance within its capacity for Nepals economic and social development. The two sides should build an all-round cooperation pattern, carry out cross-Himalayan three-dimensional interconnection network construction, and expand exchanges and cooperation in various fields.
Bhandari warmly welcomed President Xi Jinpings visit to Nepal and once again congratulated Peoples Republic of China on its establishment of 70th anniversary, indicating that Nepal is willing to learn from the successful experience of Chinas development and believe that the Chinese people, under the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party, will be able to successfully realize the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, which will surely benefit Nepal and the regions peace, development and prosperity.
