This is the bedroom on the boat of the Dingmin people. The beds are made of wooden boards, each with a floor above and below. There are windows on the top, and you can see the sea view outside. Its kind of like a walking seascape house. However, pillow sheets are directly on the board, there is no mattress or anything, very simple.
There are also small fishing boats, living areas are not clearly divided. They sleep, cook and eat directly on the same deck, living in very difficult conditions.
Close to the sea, strong winds and waves easily threaten peoples lives at all times. At the same time, fishing is also difficult to meet the basic needs of life. With the development of society and economy, many people are now returning to live on shore. But even so, they still cant break the relationship with water. The houses on the shore are built along the riverside, harbour and beach.
