[World Wide Web] Its been a week since Rockets General Manager Morey made improper comments about Hong Kong. Faced with the pressure of American public opinion, more and more NBA team coaches and players refused to take a stand on this matter. According to the Dallas Morning Post, Mark Cuban, a well-known American investor and owner of the NBA Dallas Rangers, broke his silence in a news interview on the evening of Oct. 11 and made it clear that he was not going to comment on the Morey incident. I have never commented on other countriespolicies in my life, and I will not comment on them now, Kuban said. The tension caused by Moreys harbour-related remarks has gradually calmed down. CNBC previously reported that the silence of NBA players may be related to suggestions from sports brokers who advise players to be cautious or avoid talking when asked about the uproar caused by Hong Kong.
