Weigh! Yuanwang 21 and 21 Rocket Transport Fleet Departure Today

[Heavy pound! Yuanwang 21, 21 rocket carrier fleet is going out today!] At 9 a.m. on October 12, with the sailor unlocking the last cable, Yuanwang rocket carrier fleet left the terminal of China Satellite Maritime Survey and Control Department.

It is reported that the two Yuanwang rocket carriers on this voyage have carried out the Long March 5 carrier rocket container and the Long March 7 carrier rocket container transporting from Tianjin to Hainan by sea. Since the two ships were listed, the single vessel has sailed more than 40,000 nautical miles, and has successfully completed more than ten maritime transport missions.

In order to ensure the smooth completion of this task, the scientific and technological personnel of the transport fleet entered the task preparation procedure in advance. We have organized and updated electronic charts successively, familiarized ourselves with the waterway ahead of time, maintained the main equipment in an all-round way, and carried out more than 10 targeted training and assessment for the key work such as hoisting operation. At present, all the participants and equipment are sailing in the best condition.

In the interview, Shi Zhe, the head of the Yuanwang rocket fleet, told reporters: More than 70% of the scientific and technological personnel on this voyage have experience in carrying out tasks. During the preparation period, the rocket fleet took an old and new way to let the crew of the first mission quickly familiarize themselves with the process of the mission, so as to be prepared and safe.

It is understood that the Yuanwang rocket carrier is the first special-purpose rocket carrier in China. It started construction in Jiangnan Shipyard on April 1, 2012 and was delivered to China Satellite Maritime TT&C Department on May 6, 2013. The ship is 130 meters long, 19 meters wide, 37 meters high, with a full displacement of about 9000 tons and a wind resistance capacity of more than 12 levels. Two 120-ton cranes are installed on the ship, which can safely lift large-sized rockets or rocket segment containers. The ship has also designed and installed a set of marine environmental protection system and anti-rolling and anti-vibration equipment, which makes the measured values of temperature, humidity, salinity and overload environmental data of rocket cargo compartment better than those of railway and highway transportation.
