After Boeing 737NG detected the crack, Japan asked for a thorough inspection of domestic aircraft of the same type.

According to reports, Japan Airlines and Nippon Airlines have 50 and 48 737NG, respectively. The two companies said that no cracks need to be repaired and replaced have been found. The two companies are said to have received inspection instructions from the aviation authorities and are making preparations.

It is reported that the cracks were found in the parts that installed the wing on the fuselage. The FAA issued instructions to American Airlines last week to inspect 165 old 737NG aircraft. Cracks may have a negative impact on the structural integrity of aircraft, leading to aircraft out of control, the FAA said.

Reported that the 737NG crack problem has nothing to do with the 737MAX which has been grounded in two crashes.

In an interview with Kyodo News Agency, Boeing said, Its a pity that this problem has affected 737NG customers all over the world.
