Since this year, anti-corruption in the PetroChina system deserves our attention.
Zhengzhi noted that on October 10, the CPC Party Group held a symposium on thematic learning. At this meeting, Chairman Wang Yilin mentioned in particular, resolutely and thoroughly eliminate the influence of abortion by Zhou Yongkang, Jiang Jiemin, Liao Yongyong and Wang Yongchun.
Today, China Petroleum Anti-Corruption Storm in 2013 is getting further and further away, but when you open the entries of China Petroleum Corruption Case in the search engine, you will find that there are several new people under that long list.
Resolutely and thoroughly eliminate
At yesterdays meeting, PetroChinas top leaders were not only concerned about anti-corruption, of course.
Wang Yilin, the chairman with more than 30 yearsexperience in Chinas petroleum and natural gas industry, stressed a lot at the meeting, including adhere to the leadership of the Party and adhere to high-quality development.
Zheng Zhijun noted that prior to the meeting, from March to June 2019, the Second Central Inspection Group conducted regular inspections of the PetroChina Party Group.
At the feedback meeting in August, the inspection group reported that the PetroChina Party Group had gaps in implementing major decision-making and deployment of the CPC Central Committee, insufficient direction, overall management and implementation, insufficient sense of responsibility and mission to safeguard national energy security, formalism and bureaucracy still exist and integrity risks exist in key areas.
Wang Yilin, who was present at that time, said after listening to the feedback from the inspection team that these problems were realistic, critical and alarming, and we sincerely accepted them and resolutely rectified them.
How PetroChina will rectify has become a hot topic since then.
At yesterdays meeting, Wang Yilin stressed that the influence on abortion of Zhou Yongkang, Jiang Jiemin, Liao Yongyong and Wang Yongchun should be resolutely and thoroughly eliminated.
Eliminating Zhou Yongkangs poisoning is not what PetroChina needs to do.
You might as well review your resume again.
Zhou Yongkang served as deputy general manager and general manager of PetroChina from 1988 to 1998, and became Minister of Land and Resources in 1998. After that, Zhou Yongkang worked in several important positions such as Secretary of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee, Minister of Public Security and Secretary of the Central Political and Legal Committee. He was sentenced to life in June 2015.
After Zhou Yongkangs fall, the so-called oil gang, Sichuan department, political and legal system and secretarial gang collapsed one after another. Although these officials fell one after another, their impact on the political ecology should not be underestimated.
In the following years, we have seen from many media reports that the Sichuan Provincial Committee, the Central Political and Legal Commission, and the Ministry of Public Security have all met directly to eliminate the drug abuse.
However, PetroChina needs to resolutely and thoroughly eliminate the poisons of Jiang Jiemin, Liao Yongyong and Wang Yongchun.
Among the three, Wang Yongchun was the earliest to fall out. From the outside world, the case is also the starting point of the PetroChina corruption case.
Resume shows that Wang Yongchun started in Jilin Oilfield and worked in Jilin Oilfield for 20 years before he joined CNPC. He was promoted from assistant president, vice president and President of Oilfield Exploration and Development Research Institute to general manager and Secretary of Party Committee of Oilfield Branch.
On August 26, 2013, the Central Disciplinary Commission issued a news that Wang Yongchun, deputy general manager of PetroChina Group and general manager of Daqing Oilfield Company Limited and alternate member of the Central Committee, was suspected of serious violations of discipline and was investigated by the organization.
Jiang Jiemin dropped his horse in September 2013. When Zhou Yongkang was tried, Jiang Jiemin appeared in court as a witness. The court said that Zhou received 7311,000 yuan worth of property given by Jiang Jiemin.
Liao Yongheng was killed in March 2015. The Northwest tiger, who had been making money from 1997 to the first half of 2014, was sentenced to 15 years.
Among the three, Wang Yongchun, who was in Yancheng Prison, was commuted for seven months last year.
The legal documents at that time showed that the court found that during the execution of the penalty, the criminal Wang Yongchun could confess his guilt and repent, conscientiously abide by laws, regulations and supervision rules, receive education and transformation, actively participate in the study of ideology, culture and technology, and actively cooperate with doctors during hospitalization.
The prisoner was awarded an annual award in December 2016 and an annual award in August 2017 in Yancheng Prison of the Ministry of Justice. The criminal Wang Yongchuns property-related punishment has been fully executed.
Revisit the meeting three years ago
PetroChinas anti-corruption efforts have been stepped up this year during the tiger sentence in Yancheng Prison.
On March 19, Qu Guangxue, the general manager of the ideological and Political Work Department of CNPC, was investigated.
Back to the seminar held by PetroChina on October 10.
It was noted by Zhijian that there were three topics in that meeting, one of which was to further study the important speech made by the general secretary at the National Conference on the construction of the party in state-owned enterprises.
The National Conference on Party Building in State-owned Enterprises was held three years ago (October 2016).
At that meeting, Xi Jinping stressed that the leaders of state-owned enterprises are the ruling backbone of the party in the economic field. They are important sources of the compound talents of governing the country, and shoulder important responsibilities of managing and managing state assets and maintaining value and increasing value. Leaders of state-owned enterprises must be loyal to the Party, innovative, well-managed, promising and honest.
