In the cloud data base of Hunan Unicom, the emergency rescue scenario of communication interruption, disconnection from the outside world and trapped residents due to sudden heavy rain was simulated. With the command of the front-line command station, the moored UAVs with high-altitude emergency base station equipment, the composite-wing UAVs with video cruise system, the six-rotor UAVs with emergency medicine box and the most advanced micro-satellite communication devices in China take turns in battle. Several UAVs are seamlessly docked and linked with ground command in an orderly manner. Firstly, precise positioning of the affected areas where roads are blocked and communication is lost is carried out to achieve high-definition video transmission back to the affected areas. Secondly, the communication signal is restored in the shortest time, and the connection with the individual soldier communication terminal equipment is established to realize the construction of the field emergency communication network system. Finally, through high-altitude rescue to guide shouts, and the fixed-point throwing of medical supplies. The efficient completion of this series of emergency rescue and disposal operations demonstrates the high efficiency of the emergency command of UAV + satellite space-ground integration under 5G network, which has won valuable time for emergency relief.
The successful implementation of this emergency drill is based on the integrated land-air 5G + UAV management platform jointly built by Hunan Unicom and Changsha Emergency Management Bureau. The platform has powerful functions and is the first integrated emergency rescue platform using 5G network in the national emergency response system. Through this emergency drill, the operation ability of the whole network interconnection of the platform has been comprehensively tested, and valuable experience has been accumulated for emergency communication support work such as municipal emergency rescue.
