At present, EE provides 5G network coverage in parts of 20 cities in the UK. EE has focused its new wave of 5G network construction on London Waterloo Station, Liverpool Street Station and Charlie Cross Street Station, the busiest transport hub in Britain.
Marc Allera, chief executive of the consumer division of British Telecom, the parent company of EE, said: Opening 5G services in more busy places will help customers keep in touch with the most important things.
By the end of 2019, EE will provide 5G coverage for seven other big cities. The seven cities are Glasgow, Newcastle, Liverpool, Leeds, Hull, Sheffield and Nottingham.
