Zhuhai Obit Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in March 2000. It is the first IC design company to land on the GEM of China. It is engaged in the research and production of aerospace electronics, micro-nano satellite constellation and satellite big data, artificial intelligence technology and products.

In 2014, Eubit put forward the development strategy of Satellite Spatial Information Platform. It led the construction of Zhuhai 1 remote sensing micro-nano satellite constellation composed of 34 satellites, including 2 video test satellites, 10 video satellites, 10 hyperspectral satellites, 2 hyperspectral optical satellites, 2 SAR satellites and 8 infrared satellites. Seven satellites of the constellation 01 and 02 of Zhuhai 1 were launched in 2017 and 2018 respectively.

Among them, four hyperspectral satellites weigh about 70 kilograms, with a spatial resolution of 10 meters and a spectral resolution of 2.5 nm at 500 kilometers orbital altitude. They have 256 bands and a width of 150 kilometers. They are the largest hyperspectral satellites in China.

The four satellites and the four hyperspectral satellites in orbit constitute two orbits and eight hyperspectral satellites. They can cover the whole world in 2.5 days and visit a specific area in one day. The total amount of data collected in the whole year is 7.15PB. The coverage area of hyperspectral data collected is 21880 million square kilometers, which greatly improves the ability of constellation to collect remote sensing data.

It is reported that Eubit is a private enterprise with the largest number of hyperspectral satellites in orbit and the most perfect ability of hyperspectral satellite data service in the world. Zhuhai-1 constellation hyperspectral satellite is currently the highest spatial resolution and the largest width hyperspectral satellite in China. Multi-orbital networking of multi-hyperspectral satellites is an important member of the global hyperspectral satellite family, filling the gap in the field of commercial space hyperspectral in China.

The hyperspectral data of Zhuhai 1 constellation has the ability of precise quantitative analysis of vegetation, water, crops and other features, providing quantitative analysis services for intelligent cities and other industries. At present, Eubit is laying out the demonstration application of the national satellite big data Green Water and Castle Peak Map. The platform covers four modules: natural resources, ecological environment, emergency management and traffic management.
