Recently, TSMC announced its revenue in August, breaking through the 100 billion mark and setting a new high! The combined revenue in that month was NT$106.18 billion (about 24.2 billion RMB), up 25.2% year-on-year and 16.5% year-on-year, once again widening the gap with Samsung Electronics.
The main contributor to TSMCs surge in revenue is the 7Nm process. Its main customers include Apple, AMD, Huawei, Sales, Qualcomm and so on. However, the main driving force for this round of growth is Huawei and Apple. The two companiesQ3 Q3 Qilin 990 and A13 processor stocks have led to the growth of 7Nm orders.
For Huawei, the chips they bet on at 7Nm node are actually bigger than Apples. Sales of the iPhone? 11 series of mobile phones are not expected to exceed last years. Apples stock will only be more conservative. Huawei has used 7Nm technology in mobile chips, baseband chips, server chips, AI chips and many other products.
