These hot issues and solutions under the Sino-US economic and trade frictions are being forwarded one after another in the third Museum of Explosives.
So, why can these three courses be circulated on the internet, frequently forwarded in the circle of friends, public numbers, and some video websites? Why can they become a boom in the Mu class at once and let many netizens leave messages and interact with each other? CCTV Focus Interview specially exposes the contents of these three classes.
What do you think of Sino-US trade frictions? What does it have to do with young people?
This is a topic discussed by Shen Yi, an associate professor at the School of International Relations and Public Affairs, Fudan University, and young people. Shen Yi said that the reason why he chose this direction was because of such a thing he encountered. When I attended a lecture, a student asked me a question. He said that there was a trade war now. He said that my classmates visa to the United States had been affected. What should I think of it?
In Mu lesson, Shen Yi answered this question:
Secondly, in the face of Sino-US trade frictions, China has always been reluctant to fight, not afraid to fight, and has to fight when necessary. Of course, trade frictions between the two countries will inevitably bring some losses and inconveniences. For example, students who study in the United States are refused to sign up, and their visits to the United States are blocked.
I can only say that the inner support and recognition of the country should be translated into real beliefs and actions.
What should we think of Sino-US trade frictions?
In the course of Professor Zhang Weiwei, Dean of China Research Institute of Fudan University, he led his classmates to analyze the underlying causes of Sino-US trade frictions from the perspective of Chinas rise. Today, China has the worlds most complete industrial chain, is the worlds largest trading country in goods, has the worlds largest foreign exchange reserves, creates the worlds largest middle class, and exports the largest number of tourists to the world. Unlike the history of the rise of Western powers by war in the past, Chinas rise is a peaceful rise, which relies on the hard work, wisdom, struggle and even sacrifice of the Chinese people.
Professor Zhang Weiwei believes that in the past 40 years of reform and opening-up, China has basically completed an industrial revolution at the rate of ten years, and is striving to catch up with it. Its rise is a rise of four industrial revolutions as a whole. Nowadays, the whole world is in the transition period from the third industrial revolution to the fourth industrial revolution. The fourth industrial revolution represented by big data, artificial intelligence and quantum communication will greatly change the operation mode of the whole human society. China and the United States have taken the lead in the fourth industrial revolution. Therefore, Chinas rise, breaking through the long-standing external dependency system that has plagued developing countries, has multiple world significance.
Zhang Weiwei said: The world economic system formed after the war is unfair. One is called the central or central country, that is, the western country, the other is called the marginal country, or the peripheral country. The developing country is a model of the peripheral support center. It is the exploitation of such super profits that the center makes a lot of money, while the developing countries and the peripheral countries can not develop at all. This is a big pattern. So whats wonderful about China now? Breaking through this periphery-centered pattern and becoming a pole separately, at the same time, with central countries, western countries, marginal countries, periphery countries and developing countries, as well as their largest trading partners, investment partners and technological partners, in fact only one country in China is like this, then it will change the world pattern.
Understanding Chinas rise, we can understand why the United States is provoking this trade war, and why China is not afraid to fight.
Zhang Weiwei said in his Mu lesson: Because the Americans did not understand one thing, he never understood, that is, the more you blockade and suppress China, the harder the Chinese people are to surpass you. Many of our industries have this saying, what the United States blockade, we can produce, and the quality is often better.
So, what kind of international environment does China face under the great change?
Professor Jin Canrong, Vice President of the School of International Relations, Renmin University of China, shared his observations on Sino-US relations, Chinas development and world pattern from the perspective of unprecedented changes in the past century.
Professor Jin Canrong believes that the centuries-old history of Western dominance has come to an end and the new pattern of balance between East and West is moving towards. The socialist road with Chinese characteristics has broken the situation of the unification of the Western model. The new industrial revolution is coming. It may fundamentally change the distant productivity of the West in the past. Leading situation. With the process of globalization, global problems are increasing, and these global problems have become an important driving force for the great changes in the world.
Jin Canrong said, Modern history, I think, is the history of mankind from agriculture to industry, that is, industrialization. In the process of industrialization, the most crucial thing is the industrial revolution. Everyone thinks that we are facing the fourth industrial revolution, but this time it is really different from before. This time, it is not the absolute advantage of Westerners, the absolute advantage of the United States, but the opportunity of the East, especially that of China. So I think that one of the focuses of the competition between big powers in the future, especially between China and the United States, is the industrial revolution. For China, seizing the opportunity of the fourth industrial revolution should be the greatest opportunity for China in modern history.
So, under such a great change, where is Chinas competitive advantage?
Professor Jin Canrong believes that Chinas political stability has a certain economic basis, and the development of science, technology and military has a good prospect. In particular, China has achieved industrialization, which has given China a very good position under the great changes.
Jin Canrong said, There are only a few countries in the world. According to my calculation, only one tenth of them have really mastered industrialization and modern manufacturing industry. Were lucky that were one of them and the biggest in it. Britain industrializes 10 million people, the United States industrializes 100 million people and China industrializes 1.4 billion people, so this is a particularly important advantage. Conversely, it is precisely because your relative position is better. As a big country, the United States is naturally a little nervous. It guards against you and suppresses you, which is its inevitable choice. By understanding Chinas advantages in the changing pattern, I think it should help you to maintain confidence. In the face of this difficulty of the United States as a whole, we can deal with it more calmly.
