On October 2, 2018, Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi was killed and mutilated at the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul, Turkey. The case involved a wide range of cruel means to shocked the world. On September 9, local time, the Turkish Daily Sabah published the first complete recording of Kashujis murder, restoring his painful experience at the end of his life.
It is reported that the recording of the dialogue between Kashuji and the 15-person assassination team was obtained by the Turkish National Intelligence Agency (MIT) after the tragedy and was immediately shared with Turkish investigative agencies and international agencies, including the United Nations.
At 1:14 p.m. on October 2 last year, Kashuji arrived at the consulate and was greeted by a familiar face. He was told that Consul General Mohammad al-Otaibi was in the building. As he approached the Consul Generals office on the second floor, Kashuji began to be suspicious, but it was too late. After his hands were locked back, Kashuji shouted, Let me go, what do you think youre doing?
Then Kashuji was taken into a room. Sit down, please, said Maher Abdulaziz Mutreb, the second-in-command of the assassination team. We must bring you back (Riyadh). Interpol has orders. Were here to take you. Kashugi responded: There is no lawsuit against me. My fiancee is waiting for me outside.

Kashujis last 10 minutes
Muttereb: Please leave a message for your son.
Kashuji: What should I say to my son?
Muttereb: You have to write a message. Lets make a draft first. You can show it to us when youre done.
Unknown assassination team member: Dont talk nonsense.
Muttereb: Write something like,Im in Istanbul, dont worry if you cant get in touch with me.
Kashuji: So I shouldnt say kidnapping?
Unknown assassination team member: Take off your jacket.
Kashuji: How could this happen at the consulate? I cant write anything.
Unknown assassination team member: Dont talk nonsense.
Kashuji: I cant write anything.
Muttereb: Write it down, Mr. Jamal. Hurry up. If you help us, we can help you, because eventually we will bring you back to Saudi Arabia. If you dont help us, you know what will happen in the end.
Kashuji: Heres a towel. Will you give me some medicine?
Salah Muhammadal-Tubaigy, head of forensic evidence for the dismemberment of Kashuji: Well put you to sleep.
Before Kashuji was drugged and unconscious, he said, Dont cover my mouth.
I have asthma. Dont do that. Youll suffocate me. This is Kashujis last words.
The recording then shows that the assassination team members put plastic bags on Kashujis head, and the dialogue between the assassination team members could be heard during the interval of struggle.
Did he fall asleep? How did he raise his head again? Keep pushing, push hard.
After a period of struggle and suffocation, Kashuji had no breathing sound. At 1:39 p.m., the sound of a chainsaw dismembering the corpse sounded in the recording, which lasted for about half an hour.
According to this recording, Kashujis permanent loss of consciousness occurred in a short period of 25 minutes, from entering the consulate to issuing a marriage certificate. It took only an hour for the assassination team to watch the target enter the consulate and dismember him into five boxes to carry him away.
Perhaps it was a fairly successful assassination mission for the team members. But this perfect assassination has forever changed the perception of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman.

State Top Secret Action
The last minute recordings of Kashuji and the Saudi Consul and Royal Assistants were also exposed in the Sabah Daily.
Before the murder, on September 28, 2018, when Kashuji came to the consulate to collect his marriage certificate with his fiancee Hatice Cengiz, then the Saudi Consulates Supreme Intelligence Officer, Muzani, immediately notified Riyadh with an emergency code that the Saudi Royal Kashuji had arrived at the consulate. Meanwhile, Muzani also reported that Kashuji would return to the consulate on October 2.
At 7:08 p.m., Saudi Consul Otaibi spoke to officials in the office of Saudal-Qahtani, the Crown Princes assistant.
In the conversation, Kashujis assassination was called private and top secret mission. The head of the National Security Department called me and they had a mission, the official told Ottawa. They want a member of your team to do something personal... If necessary, he can even get permission.
At 8 p.m., Muzani received a call from Ottabi: I got a call from Riyadh. They asked me to find someone who had worked in a team before. But its top secret, and there will be almost five days of training. Its top secret. I need a reliable patriotic intelligence officer.
The day before the murder, at 9:48 p.m. on October 1, two unnamed Saudi officials spoke as follows: A Committee from Saudi Arabia will come tomorrow and they will do something in the consulate of my office.
No overheated body dismembered
On June 19, 2019, United Nations human rights expert Agnes Callamard, who conducted an independent investigation into the Kashuji case, published a 101-page report identifying Kashuji as a victim of a premeditated execution and providing evidence that Salman was involved in the case.
So far, Saudi authorities have indicted 11 suspects in Kashujis murder. Five of them, Mutleb, the second-in-command of the assassination team, and Tabiji, who likes to listen to music and mutilate his body, face the death penalty.
Just before they entered the consulate to complete their mission, Mutleb also asked Tabiji if he could put the body in a bag. Tabiji said, No, its too heavy and very tall. In fact, Ive been dealing with bodies and I know exactly how to cut them. Although Ive never cut hot, it should be easy. He added: I usually wear headphones to listen to music, drink coffee and smoke when I cut the body. After my dismemberment, you can put the bodies in plastic bags in your suitcase and take them out of the building. The cold-blooded Tabiji is now facing death penalty. Ironically, Tabiji seemed to have foreboded the end of the cooking of dead rabbits and dogs. Before entering the consulate, he said, My supervisor in the security department doesnt know what Im doing. No one protects me. This may be the only time he has shown his fears.
