Installation of new centrifuges in Iran further breaks through the restrictions of Irans nuclear agreement

A statement issued by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) stated that on September 7 it had confirmed that the following centrifuges (in Iran) have been installed or are in the process of being installed: 22 IR-4, 1 IR-5, 30 IR-6 and 3 IR-6s.

Iran announced Wednesday that it had launched an advanced centrifuge to increase its uranium enrichment reserves as a third phase of measures to suspend the implementation of the Iranian nuclear agreement.

The IAEA pointed out that the centrifuges were installed at the Natanz nuclear facility in Iran. All installed centrifuges are ready to be tested with uranium hexafluoride (UF6), but no centrifuges were tested with UF6 on 7 and 8 September 2019.
