BEIJING, Sept. 8 (Reporter Chen Jinghan) On September 8, Luo Junjie, Deputy Director-General of Equipment Industry Department of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, summarized and prospected the development of domestic automobile industry at one of the special events of Guizhou Inland Open Economic Pilot Zone Investment and Trade Fair, Guizhou Auto Industry High Quality Development Forum, in 2019. It is hoped that the new energy vehicles will be a breakthrough to promote the transformation and upgrading of the automotive industry.
Luo Junjie said that Guizhou has certain foundation and conditions for the development of automobile industry. Under the conditions of combining the advantages of local big data industry and the development trend of international and domestic automobile industry, the development of new energy automobiles and intelligent network automobiles can provide solutions for the exploration of Guizhous poverty alleviation and fortification.
Since the beginning of the new century, Chinas automotive industry has developed rapidly, and has formed a complete and complete industrial system. Significant achievements have been made in vehicle research and development capacity, energy saving and emission reduction. The development of new energy vehicles has also made positive progress, from the cultivation period to the growth period.
Luo Junjie pointed out that Chinas automobile industry is still facing difficulties. Chinas economy has changed from a high-speed growth stage to a high-quality development stage, but as an important pillar of Chinas economy, the automobile industry has experienced negative growth for the first time after 28 years of sustained growth.
From the industry point of view, Chinas automobile industry still has shortcomings in the industrial chain and key technologies, the innovation system still needs to be improved, and the strength of enterprises needs to be improved urgently. In terms of foreign cooperation, Chinas automobile industry has a high degree of external dependence on high-end equipment, and the degree of oil dependence reaches 70%.
On September 8, 2019 Guizhou Auto Industry High Quality Development Forum was held in Guiyang. Absence of authority
Nowadays, energy and environment have become common challenges for the development of global automobile industry. Luo Junjie admits that the next three to five years will be the key stage for Chinas automobile industry to overcome difficulties when it enters the market and adjusts its industrial structure.
At the same time, the automotive industry has been electrified, and the energy power, production, operation and consumption of the automotive industry have begun to remodel in an all-round way. The automobile is not only a vehicle, but is gradually transforming into an energy storage unit and a large-scale smart mobile terminal. Luo Junjie believes that a new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation will certainly endow new products, stimulate new enterprises and reshape new ecology.
To this end, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has taken the lead in compiling the New Energy Automobile Industry Development Plan (2021-2035) (hereinafter referred to as the Plan), hoping to promote the transformation and upgrading of the automobile industry with the new energy vehicles as a breakthrough.
At the meeting, Luo Junjie said that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology was stepping up the compilation of the Plan, and appealed to the experts and scholars attending the meeting as well as relevant parties at home and abroad to contribute wisdom and make suggestions for the compilation work.
