According to CCTV news, the attack on Yuen Long took place in Hong Kong on July 21, and a large number of white-clad people rushed into Yuen Long Station of West Rail to attack citizens. Police said that a local man was arrested in Yuen Long on August 24 after the investigation by the New Territories North District Serious Case Unit on suspicion of participating in the riot. He and another local man arrested on 23 days in connection with the riot are being detained for investigation.

At present, the police have arrested a total of 30 people for the Yuen Long attack, including two men charged with riot.
