Since yesterday, Lichma has been producing heavy rainfall in Shandong Province with a large amount of water vapor. Monitoring shows that from 20 oclock yesterday to 16 oclock today, heavy rainfall mainly concentrated in the western part of Shandong Province, 20 hours (less than a day) time breaking the one-day record of many stations, Linqu precipitation 385.4 mm, Changle precipitation 380.1 mm, Qingzhou precipitation 351.9 mm, Guangrao precipitation 343.9 mm, as well as Linzi, Zichuan, Bo. Mountains and other places have broken the local record of one-day extreme precipitation.

According to the Central Meteorological Observatory, about 16 p.m. this afternoon, Lichma is about 120 km south-west of Qingdao City, Shandong Province.

It is expected that the Lichma will move northward at a speed of about 22 kilometers per hour, with a slight increase in intensity. It will land again in the coastal areas of Qingdao, Shandong Province (tropical storm or strong tropical storm, 9-10, 23-25 meters per second) around 20:00 p.m. today. The speed of the landing will slow down, and it will be in the northern part of Shandong Peninsula to the Bohai Sea. Wandering, the intensity gradually weakened. Min Yuqiu, a weather and meteorological analyst in China, said that the cumulative local rainfall in Shandong is expected to reach 400-500 mm. This time, the impact of Lichma on Shandong is more severe than that of last years Wenbian. Many single-day rainfalls broke the record set during last years Wenbian period. Min Yuqiu reminded us that the typhoon is very calamitous and needs to be highly prevented. Last years Winbia has been removed, and Lichma is likely to be removed.
